From a Christian point of view is that Islam is a religion insufficient. Muslims confess one God and one last prophet, the man brought God's word. Christ is rather than just a prophet (which is accepted by Islam). It is simply not enough to know only that God exists and what it thinks of the people and calls. Therefore, Christianity not only regulates the lives of Christians and their Relationship with the Triune God, but it spreads the message that that God is merciful.
This mercy is more than just a word, it really has become. Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God became man - he came to meet us. As a man he lived have all of divine justice, of the already spoken many prophets before Christ. As completely righteous man (a fact which itself confirmed the secular judges), he had to kill for the injustice of men. He took the punishment that I have for my guilt against God deserves. The eternal son was not dead but was resurrected after two days - my sentence is completely paid. That's the good news, the gospel of Christianity, which differs so fundamentally from the demanding attitude of Islam.
While Mohammed gave the people rules, as they may be able to appease God, Jesus has provided through his life, death and resurrection for reconciliation. Jesus did not demands, but the solution to the fault of the people before God. Therefore it is sufficient to Christianity.
