Some time ago, in response to the minarets, the Swiss took a TV documentary about two Swiss who converted to Islam.
There is obviously no difference whether the man is now Muslim, Christian, or anything else, is the main thing he would remain peaceful and tolerant - this impression left by the documentation. Are because there is no reason for Swiss, not to convert to Islam?
